Snorkeling
Snorkeling gives you a similar experience to that of diving. The only difference being that of the depth of diving. You could wear lifejackets and take dip inside the water to have a glimpse of the creatures beneath. Though swimming is an advantage, it is not a necessary skill for this sport. The snorkeling gears help you breathe easily through a pipe that remains above the water surface. And the glass mask help you keep your eyes open while being under the water. The thriving marine life at the shores of Andaman guarantee some equally wonderful sightings. For the people with the issues of ear-pressure, snorkeling is a suitable sport. Coral spotting is usually done by snorkeling. Jolly Bouy and North Bay Islands top the travellers’ choice for the sport of snorkeling. However, don’t underestimate the experience at the unblemished shores of Havelock and Neil.
Note
The charges of these activities may go high on the spot and thus it is advisable to pre-book it to avoid paying any unnecessary surplus charges.
