ANDAMAN ISLAND TOUR ITINERARY
07 Nights & 08 Days
Port Blair – Havelock – Neil – Port Blair
The moment you land at the airport in Port Blair, you would be escorted to the Hotel by our representative. Relax for a while and refuel yourself with some energy before starting with the capital city sightseeing. Start your familiarization trip to this Island with Cellular Jail, an epitome of great sacrifices. It was built by the British to isolate and torture the political prisoners. With its unique wheel-shaped architecture, spine-chilling history and the boundless views of the oceans, Cellular Jail makes for a heart-moving experience. As the sun goes up, we shall head towards the museums and marine ecology conservation centres of the Island.
Samudrika Marine Museum is a must-visit to get acquainted with the marine life that you are going to witness throughout your trip on different islands here. Learn about the geological history of the island through preserved fossils, sea turtles, sea horses, corals and a variety of fishes. You might also encounter them if you have opted for our water sports like sea walk, snorkeling or scuba diving. Lastly, the Anthropological Museum is not to be missed. This museum throws light on the lifestyle of the indigenous tribes. The tribes that are still unaware about the human civilization. You heard it right, Jarawas, Sentinalese, Onge, and Jangiltribes are still the same hunters and gatherers till date. You can’t explore their islands but this museum is a one-stop guide to all the ‘strange and shocking things to know’ about these Islanders.
You can end your day either at the Corbin’s Cove Beach or Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex if you wish to attempt some fun water sports on your own. For the love of History, you ought to attend the Light and Sound Show at Cellular Jail. The show projects a visual and musical story of the brutality faced by the great freedom fighters of India. It is considered to be a highlight of Port Blair City tour.

Post breakfast, a driver picks you up for transfers to the jetty. The ferry then takes off from the Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex to Ross Island. It was once popular as the Paris of the East owing to the lavish colony developed by the British. Thanks to the imported French marbles, Italian tiles, English chandeliers and brilliant European architecture, the British had created a heaven for themselves. Dance Halls, Ball Rooms, Club Houses that once sang the glory of the British Supremacy and their fanciful lifestyle now lay in ruinspost 1941 earthquake. Presently, Mother Nature has gracefully curled up over this ruined island. It is now a tourist’s fancy and photographers’ paradise. Play with the spotted deer, spot birds, click thousands of pictures and enjoy the breath-taking view from the highest point of the island, the Chief Commissionaire’s house. This little island is all about its beautiful and wild vibes.
Next on the plan is North Bay Island. It is a commercial hub for many water sports activities. The light House at this island was once its only identity. Now it is more known for its terrific marine life. The colourful corals here often leave tourists speechless. A mere session of snorkeling itself brings you closer to the colourful marine world of North Bay. However, you must try Scuba Diving or sea walk to explore the best. Semi-submarine ride is another way to enjoy the glittering corals of the island without getting into the water. Besides corals and small school of fishes, Dolphin rides are also offered to the tourists. You can book any of these water activities of North Bay Island right here.

Our representative would drive you to the jetty to board on the cruise to Havelock. Cruising through the swelling waves of Indian Ocean becomes more enjoyable with peppy music played onboard. We start exploring the island after reaching the hotel. The sheer beauty of Havelock Island feels awe-inspiring right at the first sight. The emerald greens contrasted by the fine white sand of the island creates some fabulous scenes.
Radhanagar Beach, a cynosure of travellers’ eyes all over the world, is the main attraction of this Island. The vast gorgeous sea tucked behind the dense coconut plantation is an unparalleled beauty. The fine quality of sand and green hills lining the shore in the shape of a crescent moon has brought it the title of ‘Asia’s Most Beautiful Beach’. The visitors swear by its tranquil vibes and mild music of the rustling coconut leaves. The sunset here is a cinematic experience too. The colours spread by sun, dance gracefully on the stage called sky. On a full-moon night, you could also enjoy a night kayaking session.

As soon as you arrive at this dreamland, our representative would drive you to the iconic natural bridge of Neil Island. Shell collecting is quite popular among tourists besides clicking hundreds of pictures at the bridge. The otherwise serene coastline of the island creates a riot of sensational hues as the sun kisses goodbye to its shore. Lakshmanpur beach is an ideal destination to experience the sunset. An entirely different world from the usual beach image of Andaman awaits you at Baratang Island. This day starts really early to join the convoy heading to the island. The convoy passes through the forbidden land of Jarawa tribe. If you are lucky, you may see some of them casually loitering around on roadside. They still live a totally unadulterated life. They wear no clothes, still use stone and wooden weapons. Nonetheless, their unbelievable intelligence in learning new languages and sensing natural phenomenon or calamities is surprising. They could even sense 2004’s Tsunami and saved themselves by climbing tall trees.
The convoy ends at the wooden jetty. The locals run motorboats to limestone caves and take you through mysterious canals formed by canopying mangroves. A few meters of walk on the wooden bridge amidst dense mangroves brings you to the caves. The limestone sedimentation has created a natural marvel on this island. The dripping water combined with limestone naturally forms different shapes ranging from that of Lord Ganesh, starfish, jelly fish to even a hanging lamp or chandelier. These shapes keep deforming every monsoon. The guides here keep spotting the new shapes and inform the visitors accordingly.
Beautiful canopies are created near the jetty for the tourists to rest and enjoy the scenic surrounding. You can relax here and enjoy the dramatic combination of turquoise waters and lush green mangroves floating over it.

Unaffected by the dirt or pollution caused by human habitat, Jolly Bouy, is a spotless beauty of Andaman. We shall start with 30km long drive from Port Blair to Wandoor after breakfast. The boat shall be boarded from Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. In another hour you will reach Jolly Bouy. The island is famous for the best scuba diving experience. Thanks to the strict zero plastic policy of the island, the visibility is the best. This purest form of underwater marine life can only be experienced at Jolly Bouy. The coral reefs and the types of marine creatures found here are also quite amusing. If not Scuba diving, then at least snorkeling must be on your wish-list while visiting this island. Those avoiding the waters can try the glass bottom boat rides. Rambling in the green forest on this island can be an exhilarating experience as well.
Post-lunch, we shall take the ferry back to Wandoor beach and then drive to ChidiyaTapu. The name ChidiyaTapu literally means ‘Birds’ Island’. It is a haven for a number of birds and animals of all varieties. It is almost a natural mini zoo. Wild Boars and groups of deer are commonly spotted here. More than 46 varieties of birds including some exotic migratory birds are found here. Carry your binoculars to spot all the chirping birds in the Biological Park of ChidiyaTapu. Besides this, caged reptiles, wild orchids and tall Mahua trees show you the forest wealth preserved in this small village.
End your day by witnessing the most surreal sunset from the Tapu’s Sunset Point. This is the end of the land that ensures an uninterrupted view of the gorgeous sky painted in all colours of sunset. Post sunset we move back to Port Blair. You can explore the local market and nightlight of the city by opting for either candle light dinner or bar hopping.
